Nikki Myers developed Y12SR in 2004. The combining of yoga with addiction counseling creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is.
Modeled from the meetings of 12-step programs, the Yoga of 12-Step Recovery is a group sharing circle followed or preceded by a intentional, themed yoga class.
The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery Intensive is a weekend workshop for those interested in understanding the 12-step program and its symbiotic relationship with yoga.
The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery Leadership Training gives participants the tools to offer weekly Yoga of 12-Step Recovery classes in their communities.
